Parent Skyward/Canvas Access
SKYWARD PARENT ACCESS
Signing up:
If you are a primary contact for your child, you gain access to Skyward when you register your child for school and provide the school with a valid email address. Login instructions are sent to the address that you provide. One other parent or guardian in your household also will receive access to Skyward automatically if he or she provides the school with an email address.
If one or more of the following applies, please email for access to Skyward:
- Your child lives in your household only part of the time or does not live in your household at all.
- You did not provide your email address to the school.
- You are unsure of what to do to gain access to Skyward.
After you’re registered for access you can log into Skyward here. To reset your password click here.

Internet issues?
If your Chromebook shows that you’re connected to your home wifi but apps and websites aren’t working, shut off your Chromebook and start it up again. After you sign in when your browser launches you will see this window pop up. Log into it–your username is your student ID and your password is your Chromebook login password. You have to log into this window every time it appears or most apps/sites will not work.
Chromebook Tips
Hold down Ctrl-Alt and click ? — that brings up a list of all keyboard shortcuts or view them here
Hold down Ctrl and click Switcher (that’s the key above 6) — that will take a screenshot and save it to your Downloads folder
To take a screenshot of a certain area, hold down Ctrl-Shift and click Switcher and select the area you want to screenshot
Save all files into Google Drive, not onto your device. When your device needs to be repaired you will lose files stored on the device, but your Google Drive files will still be there for you. You can also open them from other computers. If you want to change your Downloads folder to automatically point to a folder in Google Drive, here’s how: from Chrome click the three dots in the upper right and choose Settings. Click Advanced at left, then scroll down to Downloads. Click Change, choose Google Drive, click New Folder, name it (perhaps Downloads is a good name) and hit Open.

Zoom Info
Installing Zoom on your Chromebook
If Zoom isn’t working on your Chromebook, reboot. You can test that it works in advance of any scheduled class meetings by going to a Zoom test meeting then clicking Join. It may ask if you want to run/install the extension to run Zoom; go ahead and agree to that. As long as it didn’t say it was blocked then you’re set!  Zoom troubleshooting
