Community Service Opportunity! Plus the chance to complete a Coaching and Leading with Racial Equity 6-week course. JEDI which stands for Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion is looking for student participation in their advisory committee (a comittee of Foundation for VPS).

If you are a 10th or 11th grader and interested in this meaningful experience, here’s what to do next:

  • Contact: Timothea Sutton at Timothea.Suttonantonucci@vansd.org or call 360.313.4725
  • Email: A quick statement (yes, only 2 or 3 sentences) about why you are interested in this opportunity
  • Provide your grade level, school and contact information

The chosen student(s) will join meetings the first Tuesday of each month from 4:30 to 6:30 on Zoom. You will receive community service hours and have a voice in creating an inclusive culture. The committee is looking for a student that is invested in the values of JEDI, eager to learn more, and can attend the monthly meetings regularly.
