Students demonstrated their knowledge and skills in a variety of career and technical fields at the 2021 SkillsUSA Washington State Conference.

Six students from Vancouver School of Arts and Academics earned first place:

• Nathan Keldsen and Ian MacDonald—Digital Cinema Production
• Keldsen, MacDonald, Alyssa Maggi, Natalie McNulty and Ellie Winkley—Quiz Bowl
• Madeleine Surface—Customer Service
• MacDonald—Related Technical Math

These students also qualified for the SkillsUSA national competition in June. Ken Winkley is their SkillsUSA adviser.
