The Washington State Governors’ Scholarship for Foster Youth is a scholarship program that helps young men and women from foster care continue their education and earn a college degree. Approximately 40-50 awards are given annually ranging from $2,000-$4,000.
Eligibility:
- Students in foster care or guardianship
- High school senior in Washington state on track to graduate
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Plan to enroll in full-time college beginning fall 2021
