January 18th is MLK Day; no school

January 28th is the last day of the Semester. There is no school on Friday January 29th, as it it the End of Semester Workday for teacher grading. However, we will do schedule and material pickup for students on this day. We will send out a schedule for this next week.

 VSAA Application

The Application process for the 2021-22 school year began January 6th. If you know any VPS students currently in grades 5-10 who may be interested, please direct them our website.

Apply to VSAA

We are asking all current students in grades 6-11 to complete a re-commitment form. This allows us to know which students will be returning so we can determine how many openings we have for new students. The process is electronic this year, due to the remote learning. Please complete this Form as soon as possible, but no later than January 29th, 2021.

 
 

 

Semester Grades

 

We have just under 3 weeks remaining of the semester. It is our hope that all students finish the semester with grades that reflect their true potential.

And, of course, we want all high school students to earn their credits toward graduation.

This means that now is a critical time for students to focus on making up any missing assignments, completing any retakes and redos necessary and working hard to get over the finish line!

Taking advantage of the Wednesday 30-minute office hour sessions for each class are very beneficial as well.
